Re: Dow 10k
Sat, December 13, 2003 - 7:04 PMBarring unforeseen events in the near future (like a major terrorist attack), the market should be headed upwards, at least for the first half of 2004. Where else is people going to put their year end bonuses, raises, changes in 401K's, etc? I predict not into an underperforming bond market or into a CD at 1.5%-2% annual interest.
Regardless of the market being short-term overbought, earnings are still improving and all the suckers have not been drawn in yet. Distribution under the "bigger fool theory" has just started.

Re: Dow 10k
Thu, December 18, 2003 - 3:56 PMTough question. I don't think anyone has a good answer to that one. I think a better question would be ... where would you find values in this market .. ? -

Re: Dow 10k
Mon, December 20, 2004 - 4:17 PMSure you can give an answer to the question... the question is whether your answer will be correct or not. In this case, I lucked out although it treaded up for the first quarter versus half, but then the market got "distributed" as the Dow went from a March high of over 10,700 to a Fall low of under 9,800. Now, let's play again... where is the Dow, or market in general, going for 2005?
